On October 31, 2009 EML Recordings will be releasing the long awaited LP from acclaimed Canadian DJ Crimson Death entitled The Crystalline Imprint.
Punishing beats, sonorous bass, haunting ambience and demonic vocals are unlike anything heard before in the Drum & Bass genre. This is the ultimate crossover between jungle and industrial metal.
Not for the faint of heart or weak of mind.

@Autorotation (on Twitter) posted a comment about whether to join “yet another” music site promising ‘increased exposure’, ‘earnings from you music’ and ‘a way to contact your fans’. The issue was that the internet/market/whatever-you-call-it is oversaturated.
I myself have joined many a site which claims to be able to give the artist a portal through which they can upload and sell their music and increase exposu… Continue

Stuff I've been listening to recently (to reply to a question from Pixieguts). Not all leftfield or homemade, but they are lesser-known at least for signed artists.
Experimental shoegaze- really deep surreally interesting stuff-
A Sunny Day In Glasgow
A Shoreline Dream is also good, but much less experimental.
Electronica-tinged melodic post-rock ambient… Continue

Well, we're a small but select band of brothers (and sisters). I am guilty of neglect as I haven't updated anything here since April! And when I do, it isn't an insight....it's just to promote whatever I'm doing that's new! Hmmmm.
Well, why change now?!
Here are some great bits of stuff which I'm trying to peddle:
It's nearly time !!..to pre-order your copy of this Awesome album,EITHER ON CD, FULL COLOR GLOSSY COVER, INLAY, CREDITS, BAR CODE ETC, or as a 320k Bit rate sparkling download just click the image below
Neil McCann (muuwmuuw) has created a great video for my track, "Blink". He's produced a fantastic complimentary array of images to accompany my music and I couldn't be more pleased with it! Part surrealism, part documentary of the everyday, he has managed to sum up my track, and add depth, with pictures. Like the 'Dayvan Cowboy' video by BoC, its both playful and elegaic! Check it out here (see the previous blog post). Continue

I've managed to include the music player on the page (eventually). This is, at present, stocked with some of the artists who fit the site's ethos. I have a selection of unsigned DIY music as well, which is going to be uploaded in the next few minutes. So, there will be a mixture of familiar and unfamiliar names on there, where hopefully, you can make a few musical discoveries. Continue
KORG DS-10
The KORG DS-10 is a music-creation software for the Nintendo DS that combines the superior interface of the Nintendo DS and the design concept of the famous MS-10 synthesizer.
The sound sources in the KORG DS-10 come from KORG - one of the world's top musical instrument produ… Continue
Here's a link to the great and quite bizarre record label run by music and erotica afficianado Jonny Trunk here in the UK. There are some choice soundtracks from Hammer and Amicus horror films available from the site, plus some hilarious and wonderfully 'gritty' lo-fi 70s "erotica"!!!
Its also a mine of information about Radiophonic music, and some unsung heroes of the avant-garde. The site is quintessentially British, exhibiting a thick seam of subversion underneath its cultured exterior!!!
